There are rules for supplementing
Supplements are very person specific. It is great to try to get most of nutrients from your healthy meals or juicing. And if you do decide your body needs more, good rule is to be very careful supplementing with things your body already produces on its own and investigate whether your supplement needs to be taken with another supplement like copper and zinc or vitamin d and vitamin k.
If you are an active person, I find its very helpful to take ZMA, L Carnitine and Omega-3s to help your recovery.
I know, we are all concerned how to fight those sugar cravings. It can take up to seven days to eliminate sugar from your system, so try to go without it cold turkey. Once you are over the hump, it does get easier, I promise! To help with sugar cravings you should take calcium (500 mg a day), Lipoic acid (300mg a day), Tyrosine (500mg twice per day on empty stomach), 5-HTP (300 mg per day). Also avoid diet sodas and artificial sweeteners and allow some time for your taste buds to learn a new way of living; you are better off using agave syrup or Stevie powder, or even a little honey.
Still very confusing? The best thing you could do is to get micro-nutrients analysis, it will show you exactly what you need, so you can get supplements to cure what ails you!
